Frequently Asked Questions
How is iplanit different to other systems on the market?
iplanit is the only digital care planning system designed and built around the person supported or cared for. iplanit puts them at the heart of their service, with the Person Portal providing them with ownership, control and choice over their care and support, which allows the inclusion of their circle-of-support.
Are there funding options available to implement iplanit?
There are occasionally central or local government funding opportunities available regionally, and we keep abreast of these opportunities as far as possible to enable our customers to benefit. Contact us at email@example.com to find out more about how your service can benefit from utilising this funding to implement iplanit.
Implementing a new system and changing the way we work seems daunting. How will you support us to roll out?
Aspirico have always adopted a partnership approach with our customers, whether they support 25 people or 2500. Our Client Management team consists of Social Care professionals with “real-world” experience of running care and support services, and all customers are assigned a dedicated Client Manager from our team to guide them through the implementation and training process.
What if my team are not computer experts?
iplanit has be designed in coproduction with social care providers for over a decade, and has been specifically developed to be an intuitive, self-service tool for the non-technical user. The user interface is clear, consistent and requires minimal navigation to reach the relevant functions for everyday use.
What support is available after roll-out?
After implementation, your dedicated Client Manager will conduct regular review meetings to maximise the benefits of your iplanit system. In addition, you will have access to a 24/7 Support Desk, the online iplanit Learning Centre, monthly Best Practice Clinics webinars, regular upgrades to your system and a sector-leading “wraparound” support package.
How private and secure is my data?
Aspirico is fully ISO27001 certified ensuring that your service user information and data are completely secure. Also, as the information is securely accessed in controlled central server locations, there is no risk of sensitive information getting lost or stolen on portable computing devices. For full details of our security policies and protocols, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Can iplanit integrate with other systems?
Our in-house team of developers and software engineers are able to integrate iplanit with a range of complementary back-office systems, such as rostering, HR, finance and third party eMAR.
To ensure data security and customer needs are met, our team analyses the integration specification (e.g which system is being integrated, which version of that system, what datasets are being exchanged and in which direction(s), for what purpose etc) and will advise on the best course of action.
Does iplanit include GP Connect?
We are currently developing GP Connect as part of our roadmap and it will be available in 2023.
What devices do we need to run iplanit?
iplanit is a web-native cloud-based system, meaning that it is accessible from any internet enabled device via a browser – including desktops, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The in-built Responsive Web Layout means that iplanit “knows” what type of device you are using, and adjusts itself accordingly, giving it the “look and feel” of an app when accessed from a mobile device, without the loss of data or functionality associated with an App.
How do you charge for iplanit?
We believe in transparency in our costings, and therefore we separate implementation costs, as opposed to “bundling” them up into Annual Subscription Charges (licences) so that our customers do not continue to pay them on an ongoing basis.
One-off implementation costs are determined by the type of configuration and system-build (Standard or Custom Configuration) requested, and include, creation of their unique iplanit system, configuration, data upload (Service Users and staff), training materials, roll-out support and an assigned Client Manager.
Licenses are charged Per Service User, with no limit on the number of staff, management or Service User “invited guests” and reviewed annually (i.e. we don’t charge extra for the addition of a few licences here and there – the only exception being significant changes in volume – such as win or loss of a contract, acquisition of another service etc)
